Vicki`s Diner in Westfield

I was shopping in the area and I've decided to go for lunch and this place not disappointed. It was very crowded inside but I was sitted right away. The coffee was served right away and a soup quicky followed after that. Their coffees are so good!!! They make different flavors too so you can get a nice seasonal coffee in here. My waitress was lovely, you can tell they cater best they can to their clients. I have ordered a turkey burger which came with a sweet potatoe fries, a pickle and some coleslaw. What a juicy burger that was!!! The flavor was really good, it was not a reheated burger but definitely freshly made one. The bean soup was very well also. I will be back!!!! Oh, and did I mention I loved their coleslaw!? I am not lying, it was my best one I've ever had!! The mayo balance in coleslaw can be tricky, this had a great flavor but it was not too heavy. I never finish a coleslaw so for me to eat it all I was very impressed.

Ordered a jr Ruben and the corn beef was chewy. I thought perhaps maybe better next day heated up as leftover in frying pan next mornings. Nope just as chewy. A jr or sr couldn’t chew it 😝

A mediocre experience that didn't disappoint entirely nor did it wow any senses. Service was okay. I enjoyed that they locally source their bagels from a nearby bagel shop.

One of the best diners in Westfield. I love it. The ambience is very American from the glory years of 1950s. Colourful place and very pleasant. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. Fast service, even it they were busy. All the menu is really tasty and well served. Very American food for all meals and it is absolutely delicious and I love it! I have had different meals there on many days. Their level was sustainable and consistent. Breakfast was really good and fulfilling yet very varied at the same time. I enjoyed it very much!They serve amazing coffee! They have different coffee beans from many famous places around the world, like Colombia. They have all soft drinks you would think of to pair best with your meals. Lunch and dinner were delicious as well. Most importantly, the prices are very fair and their portions are huge!! Check out the muffins and see how tasty and huge they are. Enjoy!

This place is great! The coffee was delicious! I had two eggs over easy, tons of bacon, potatoes and rye toast. My bf had the Spanish omelette. Everything was good but the constant coffee fill ups and attentiveness of our waitress, Carole, made our experience extra special!

I’ve been going here since I was about 2 years old. I’m now 19. I’ve gotten to know many employees here; Everyone has a smile on their face and is so kind. The owner is so nice and friendly they make it seem like you’re family when you dine here. It’s always a pleasure to walk in and say hello to everyone and chitchat. Vicki’s Diner needs to be a historical landmark.

Vicki's diner is the absolute best! The food is always fresh, delicious, made to order and you never wait long for its delivery. All staff are pleasant and dedicated!

Food was average. It was better in the past. The worst is that they OVERCHARGE FOR TAX! I questioned the server and was told that they ROUND THE TAX UP TO 7% to make it easier! This cannot be done. She said that its 6.75% anyway so its ok. NO it is not. It's 6.625%. She corrected my check, but I will never return. I took a long break from Vicky's because they allowed us in 45 minutes before closing and then kept pushing us to leave! I asked prior to staying if 45 minutes would be ok, and was told not to worry, but then the server kept coming by to say they were closing! I had to go back at her telling her I was not done eating. It was ridiculous. So, this time I will not return after a long break..

I eat here at least twice a month. This diner is a very down to earth, vintage setting in a overrated neighborhood. Sorry. Feels like home there. Portion size is huge and the prices can't be beat for the area. I will always be back.

Services is really good and fast

Great diner that's been around for a little over 30 years total. Very retro feel, very good prices, very good food, and very nice waitresses. Definitely would recommend.

My wife and I stopped here for a nice lunch on 7/4 and had a bad experience. They were closing early at 3pm, however they were already trying to rush us out at 2:30pm, leaving us the bill before we even finished eating. This reduced the tip we chose to leave. Then, when we were paying at the register, the lady asked if we left a tip. My response, "Yes, but it isnt required". You dont ask customers if they left a tip, that is up to the customers. The diner in Roselle Park is so much better. Will not return to Vicki's.

I miss Vicki’s diner! Although we can’t eat inside in their cute environment, the food remains delicious! Looking forward to Saturday morning breakfast someday!

One of the only appealing qualities of this establishment is the retro style and theme they attempt to portray. Beyond this, much like a stereotypical diner, there is not much more to call attention to other than management's attempts to accommodate every customer that walks through the door by clearing and flipping tables to manage crowds and clear the more financially limited or just plain obnoxiously loud minors that frequent the eatery.As far as the customer experience is concerned, the servers are commonly very respectful and cordial. Very few mistakes are ever made and it is common to see the same faces every visit. From mozzarella sticks to salads, burgers, soups, and pasta dishes the food is usually decent and acceptable. Prices are also average for what you would expect from a diner. They definitely do enough to earn a repeat visit every now and then.

Viki's is a beautiful classic American Diner with an interior full of chrome details and red vinyl booths. The wait staff is so friendly and will always suggest an extra slice of cheesecake or pie.Viki's does excellent versions of all the Dinner classics: great burgers, triple decker club sandwiches, patty and tuna melts. Everything can come with a side of home cut and made-to-order french fries.You also shouldn't miss the breakfast either. Great pancakes, eggs, and amazing hash browns. Seriously don't miss the hash browns!

Enjoyed our visit very much, perfect location in the heart of Downtown. Food was very tasty and service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go back on our next visit!

I just loved their food. I always get awesome customer service there. The place is well organised and the employees are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.

The food was good and the staff was very nice. From what I can tell, there's street parking on the road in front of the diner. However, the cost for everything was way higher than expected. Still, this is a good diner to check out while in Westfield. BK

Had there pork chops with bake potato and veggies, with a bowl of rice soup. Very impressed, there food was delicious. My only regret I ran out of time, to return for another meal. Great restaurant wonderful people.

Vicki's Diner is a local hangout and throw back to a 1950's NJ diner. Food pretty average - staff is great. Very attentive.

Nice friendly service, good diner fare. They went out.of their way to accommodate my 5 year old grandson, who is a picky eater. I had a gyro. The only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars was that I wasn't crazy about their tzatziki.

Really disappointing food. Very bland and coarse Spanish omelet, dreadful and stale home fries. Maybe Vicki's earned its reputation on pancakes and French toast. Definitely not a place to get an egg breakfast.

Delicious food! Had my sons 21st birthday catered brunch style ... eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, chicken fingers, and fries. It was all a hit and all the guests asked where we ordered the food from. Favorite, the sausage and pancakes 😋 Being new to the area ... Valerie, the owner, to the staff that helped walked the food out to our car ... was a pleasure to do business with! Thank you all for your kindness!

Great food and fast service even though it was busy. I got a chicken wrap and it was stuffed with chicken, which was cooked to perfection. It came with chips or fries (for a surcharge), but the chips weren't super great, just alright.

Vicki's Diner is in one of the most central areas of Westfield. If you have been around the area it's hard to not notice.I have gone a few times and enjoyed the experience. They have all day breakfast and friendly staff. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Food was good and the cups never stayed empty, even with every table full. Wish the fries tasted like potato and not whatever else is cooked in the fryer and the chips were pretty hard. The main dishes though were really really good though.

The food was okay, but there are much better places to eat in town.

Been here a few times and it was always nice and cozy to eat here.
